Stone industries are advancing towards development for sand stones, marble panels, granite, cement paving blocks to achieve required roughness on one side either for good bonding strength or esthetic look after laying on the room flooring & road side pavements.
Disa shot blasting machine has recently designed, developed, manufactured & successfully installed airless shot blasting roller conveyor machines for different usages like sand stones, marble panels, granite and cement concrete interlocking paving blocks. Shot blasting is a mechanical surface preparation process or technique to improve the bonding strength of job by blasting with small balls. Roughness is formed on the surface of the job by the striking tinny spherical balls.
The sand stones, marble panels, granite, cement paving blocks are placed on the roller conveyor for automatic blasting. The sand stones, marble panels, granite, cement paving blocks pass through inward tunnel and enter into the blasting chamber for surface preparation. The blast wheels are stationed strategically around the cabinet propels shots on the job. The job moves forward and exit into outlet tunnel after duly blasted & air washed with air blower fans. The quantity of wheels will depend on the job size & its production rate.

Concrete Block Shot Blast Machine type LBG
Disa concrete block shot blast machines perform efficient and high quality blasting of concrete products like blocks, slabs and kerbstones.
DISA has created a new range of turbine shot blasting machines for the superficial treatment (ROUGHENING, GLAZING, DISTRESSING) of MARBLE TILES, SLABS OF NATURAL MARBLE or AGGLOMERATE, granite, as well as CEMENT TILES, interlocking paving, KERB-STONES, etc.
Pieces are transported on a horizontal, netting conveyor belt; the blasting effect is obtained through the centrifugal projection (without compressed air) of spherical steel shot.
It is possible to vary the speed of transportation or of shot projection, according to the effect desired or to the hardness of the surfaces to be treated.
We offer a complete range of  QDS type shot blasting machines, with belt-widths of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 2000 mm, and we can already boast a considerable list of references both in Italy and abroad.
The advantage: the blast process creates a unique character of the blocks, with a high quality surface appearance, which in turn creates added value to the product.
The flexible design and control of the machine provides the optimum blasting process for various concrete products. This is most important as concrete is a delicate material: to ensure the desired finish/appearance is achieved, the blast pattern must be uniform, and the patterns from different wheels should not overlap.
The optional use of two, three or four blast wheels in special positioning and with programmed start/stop functionality, allows the targeted treatment of both the horizontal and vertical visible surfaces - e.g. on fence blocks, kerbstones or block steps.
The concrete block blast machine can be integrated into a production line due to its modern control system with the relevant interfaces, different belt lengths and well coordinated transfer stations (e.g. sheets or rollers). The machines can be operated easily using a Siemens Touchpanel.
Disa concrete block shot blast machines can be sized to treat workpiece widths from 600 to 1500 mm. Both indexing and continuous operations are possible. The belt runs smoothly, at speeds from 2.5m/min to 14m/min.

The transport belt is provided with transverse ribs to remove blast media via the recesses and holes in the belt.
The advantage:
The "ball-bearing effect" where blocks drift off-track is avoided. This is especially important if you choose to unload blocks by a gripper system, as the grippers are exactly designed for a defined block position.
Blow-off station
Stainless steel shot is the preferred abrasive for concrete applications. After blasting, a blow-off station with a high pressure blower removes the shot from the surface of the concrete blocks. The nozzles are adjustable in height and therefore adaptable for the treatment of different concrete block sizes.
